Police probe after man found dead

Two men and a woman have been arrested after a man's body was discovered at a house in County Durham.

Police were called to a property in Forster Street in Darlington on Friday morning and found the man in a downstairs room.

He had serious head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said he had not yet been identified.

The area around the house, close to the town centre, has been sealed off and forensic experts have been called in.

Police are questioning two men, aged 19 and 23, and a 30-year-old woman, all from Darlington.

A police spokesman that the death was being treated as suspicious.

He said detectives wanted to hear from anyone who was in Forster Street on Thursday and who may have heard or seen anything unusual or untoward.
